            The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) is a national organization. Its headquarters are in Chicago, Illinois. The website is: www.ussoccer.com. USSF referees work select, premiere, state cup, super y, midwest regional league, major league soccer, and international games (including World Cup).


            The Michigan Referee committee is a member of the USSF, and is responsible for training and certifying referees for many leagues in Michigan (state cup, premiere, midwest regional league, select soccer leagues, super y, etc). The homepage for the Michigan Committee is www.michiganrefs.org It contains links to programs, requirements, resources, and staff.

            To become certified as a USSF referee, go the Michigan Referee Committee home page- www.michiganrefs.org. All the requirements for certification, when/where classes are offered, and how to sign up for a class, are presented there.
