January 1. Renew your GVSOA membership now. It is required of USSF referees in order to be eligible to
                                    receive GVSA game assignments. It is also required of USSF assignors with GVSA
                                    clubs. If your information has not changed, and you do not have to
                                    pay the annual membership fee, send an e-mail to that effect to Jack Wolf.
                                    This is a new way to keep your membership current.

               If you are not a GVSOA member, and want to be eligible to receive or assign GVSA games,
                                    go to the "Statement" tab. Complete the GVSOA Membership Application 
                                    and determine if you are exempt from paying the annual membership fee
                                    ($10.00). The membership application is sent to Jack Wolf. If you owe the
                                    annual membership fee, the check or money order is to be made payable to
                                    "GVSOA" and sent with the membership application to Jack Wolf.

February 25. Lansing assessor recertification at the MHSAA office.

March 3 and 4. Middleville grade 9 (entry) and grade 8 (bridge) classes. www.michiganreferee.org for details and
                                    registration.

March 10. Plymouth assessor recertification at the MSYSA office.

March 10. GVSOA Spring Kick-off meeting. 3-5pm. Soccer Spot in Kentwood. Mandatory for Grade 9's.

March 12. WMSOA Crackerbarrel. 6:30 reception, 7pm start. Kentwood City Offices, 4950 Breton SE Kentwood.

April 13, 14 & 15. Grand Rapids Crew Spring Classic tournament. See "Tournament " tab for additional information.

April 14. Start of season for GVSA and MSPSL games.

June 10. End of season for GVSA games.

June 16 and 17. Kalamazoo Invitational Soccer Showcase (KISS) tournament. Boys' competition.

June 23 and 24. Kalamazoo Invitational Soccer Showcase (KISS) tournament. Girls' competition.

August ?? Physical Fitness Testing and Advanced Training by the Michigan Referee Committee. 
                                    ALL sites, dates and times will be posted at www.michiganreferee.org. The testing
                                    is mandatory for 7's and above, & those upgrading to 7 and 6, at one of the sites
                                    statewide. The training is recommended for all referees.
